Helix Sunglasses by Zeal Optics

Zeal Optics pitch themselves as a boutique sunglasses brand. Their design team is based in Boulder, Colorado and their product line is directed primarily at the outdoors market, with sports oriented wrap around eyewear and goggles, as well as more casual sunnies. The Helix sells for $165 and features a semi-rimless design with a solidly secured ‘Z-resin’ frame. The lens is polarised and they feature a special SPF film that’s said to reduce the sun’s glare by 99%. Interestingly, Zeal states that they craft every pair of sunglasses from renewable plant-based materials and they claim to be the most sustainable sunglasses company in the world.
