Niner Jet9 RDO Frame

The latest offering from Niner bikes takes the CVA suspension system and handling traits of the Jet9 and moulds it from carbon fibre. Where the alloy Jet9 weighed around 2.8kg, the new carbon fibre Jet9 RDO should come closer to the 2.3kg mark. In addition to dropping a whole lot of weight, the RDO gains some extra suspension; it offers 100mm of travel versus the 80mm that the alloy version has. This can be combined with a 100 or 120mm travel fork (the standard Jet9 is designed around 80-100mm travel forks). The RDO comes with a host of features including internal cable routing, tapered zero-stack headset, direct mount front derailleur and a press-fit 30 bottom bracket. Expect the new carbon Niner to sell for around $3,199 with a Fox Kashima RP23 shock.
