Bontrager Lithos Helmet

A relatively new model in the Bontrager line-up, the Lithos looks bang-on the money for a modern trail helmet. Weighing between 310g and 350g (depending on the size), it’s well and truly light enough for XC riding. It also sports plenty of large vents which are geared towards providing ventilation at lower speeds. On the flip-side it has a nice deep profile that offers distinctly better coverage than your typical road/XC race helmet and the outer hard shell wraps right around the lower portion of the helmet to protect it from general wear and tear. It features an adjustable and removable visor which provides 10-degrees of indexed tilt adjustment. Available in three shell sizes with a one-hand adjustable fit system, the Bontrager Lithos sells for $159.
