Fresh Events & Venues for Rocky Trail Racers!

For 2016 the Rocky Trail Shimano GP kicks off on the fantastic singletracks of Glenrock, just near Newcastle — this is a singletrack heavy course with plenty of technical challenge and some climbing too.

Outer Image Photography will be on hand for all the Shimano GP rounds and you’ll be able to access all of your photos as part of the race entry package. Glenrock is a spectacular location, right next to the ocean, so you can expect to score some great photos!

Round two will be on the 9th April at Singleton — an all-new venue for the Shimano GP series. The Singleton trails are relatively open and super fast with only rolling undulations to slow you down. The tracks offer easy overtaking and the technical difficiulty is low, so it’s a great course for newcomers and the kids.

From there the series returns to more familiar trails with round three at Stromlo on the 7th of May, Ourimbah on the 25th of June and the final round at Mt Annan on the 23rd of July.

All rounds will follow the same format with four-hour ‘Fast’ or seven-hour ‘Furious’ race options.
