Machined from 7075 alloy, the main chainring mounts directly to the splined crank arm while the smaller chainring bolts directly to the big ring. FRM offers 22/36 or 24/38 size options and eliminating the spider trims between 60g and 105g from the weight of an X.0-level crankset. In an effort to maintain shifting performance, the NS chainring features deep ramps and steel pickup pins. The complete chainring set should sell for $195.
