Industry news: Sola Sports secures Race Face/Easton

Long-time local Fox suspension importer Sola Sports has added the last pieces of the Fox-owned puzzle to its stable of brands in Australia.

The Sydney-based company has added Race Face and Easton to its roster, which complements the Fox-owned Marzocchi line it added last year.

Fox acquired Race Face and Easton in 2014; its work with Race Face, in particular, helped to turn the waning brand around.

Chris Tutton, who owned Race Face and Easton Cycling, said at the time that "Fox is the perfect fit for Race Face/Easton. All three brands complement each other with our distinct high-performance product lines. The added operations, marketing and engineering support from Fox will allow us to innovate faster while remaining focused on our core businesses."

Race Face's Aussie product line will include both soft and hard goods for the mountain bike sector, while Easton will bolster Sola's road product lines. Stock is expected to land before the end of November.
