US based brand Maxima started off in auto racing circles in the late ’70s and has since expanded their range to include products designed specifically for mountain biking.
Their MTB lineup includes everything from chain lubes and grease through to brake fluid and bike wash. Now available in Australia, Maxima Plush expands upon this range.
Plush fluid was designed from the ground up for MTB applications and is said to possess ‘surface active technology’ which claims to eliminate stiction, lowering the breakaway force in the initial stroke. Special additives are also said to extend seal life and protect the system from wear and corrosion. It's equally suited to suspension fork or rear shock applications.
Maxima offers Plush Fluid in 3, 5, 7.5 and 10WT as well as a range of sizes. A 455ml bottle sells for $21 or you can buy 3.6L for $140. There’s even a whopping 19L drum available for $600!
