Muckynuts Bender Fender

England has a reputation for shoddy weather and mud, so it’s to be expected a product like this would originate from the UK. Muckynuts has designed a range of compact fenders that can be fitted at various points on the bike (down tube, rear wheel, under the saddle and so on). One of the tidiest and most effective options is the Bender Fender, which straps into your suspension fork using velcro straps. It’s offered in two lengths; the regular one only extends towards the rear while the ‘XL’ version (pictured) has a section both in front and behind the fork arch. The basic Bender Fender sells for $14 while the XL goes for $16.50. By mounting the fender so close to the wheel, it can catch a good deal of flying mud without being overly big—trust the Poms to think of it!
