Recently Fox has been teasing us with a few sneaky photos of their new dropper post. Their current ‘DOSS’ dropper is only offered with external cable routing; a design that is quickly slipping behind the times with many bikes now use internal ‘stealth’ style dropper post routing.

The new design will also be infinitely adjustable (the DOSS has three fixed heights). From what we’ve seen so far, the lever has been designed for under the bar mounting on the left hand side with a 1X drivetrain (there may be alternatives for front derailleur users but we haven’t seen them yet). It appears to be well positioned and ergonomic with Fox spruiking it as offering ‘low lever force’.

We’re certainly keen to see more and get one on test.
