Thredbo is up and running for the 2015-16 summer season and they have a range of new trails on offer. The cross-country network has received some much needed love with new trails added as well as the existing trails receiving a facelift. You’ll now find multiple line options and added features on some trails.

The biggest news is the opening of the brand new ‘All-Mountain Trail’. This lift assisted trail drops from the top station back down to the Thredbo village, taking in 10km of jumps, berms and rock features. At this point 6.5km of the track is open and you’ll need to follow a temporary access trail to reach the All-Mountain Trail. The full 10km long descent should be open by 2016.

Work is also in progress on the Thredbo Valley Trail which will eventually extended all the way down to Lake Jindabyne. As it stands, the trail takes you as far as Lake Crackenback Resort and offers a fun ride that’s accessible to beginner and intermediate riders with luxury accommodation available at the resort.

With all these projects on the go and season long lift access to the gravity trails, Thredbo is looking like an even more appealing destination for a summer MTB holiday. Go to the Thredbo website for a complete overview of the expanding trail network and check the video below for a peek at the new All Mountain Trail.
