Tune Hub Combination - King/Kong

Despite the name, German brand Tune’s King/Kong (front/rear) hub combination is far a heavyweight; the 100x15mm King front hub weighs just 113g, and the 142x12mm Kong is an equally impressive 210g. Notwithstanding the almost ethereal weights, these hubs are designed to endure the rigours of heavy all-mountain riding; the hub bodies are virtually identical to those used by 14 times German DH champion Marcus Klausmann. The rear hub has a three pawl, 27point engagement, and both hubs are available in 11 different colours, 24, 28 or 32 holes, and all the axle standards you could wish for. German-made quality usually comes at a price, but at $219/$439 (F/R) you could easily pay more for significantly heavier hubs coming out of Asia.
